When I was younger, I was often encouraged to pursue my dreams and follow my heart's desires. It seemed like good advice at the time, but it was only wishful thinking until I encountered Jesus in my life.
In John 14:6, Jesus declared, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me."
These words shook me to the core and made me realize that true fulfilment and purpose can only be found in Him. Jesus is not merely a guide or a source of wisdom – He is the very essence of life itself. This realization led me to reassess my priorities and consider the value of my soul.
In Matthew 16:26, it says, "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?
These words carry a weighty truth. In a world that often prioritizes material gain and personal ambition, it is easy to lose sight of what truly matters. Our souls are precious, and it is important not to lose sight of our worth in the pursuit of temporary desires.
Heavenly Father, true satisfaction can only be found in you. I pray that everyone here will be led by the Spirit and experience the transformative power of your presence in their lives.
